This film documents how workers are exposed to asbestos in ways that are adverse to their safety and health. And it depicts safer ways to deal with the chemical, known to be the cause of mesothelioma, a fatal disease.

The film was completed in the closing days of the Carter White House and buried by the Reagan administration because it was considered unfriendly to businesses.
