Anti-nuclear activists at the height of the Cold War use non-violent actions that range from writing letters to the President to passing town meeting resolutions, marching in the street, quitting a nuclear weapons factory job, refusing to pay a share of their taxes, entering a weapons facility and deliberately facing prison for these and other more extreme actions.
